Minutes 23rd January 2010 Inaurgaral Meeting

1.  Purpose of the SSC is to promote the organisation and enjoyment of sailing trips 
2.  Membership is open to all sailors who attended Catenian sailing trips during 2007, 2008 and 2009.
3.  A list of members is to be prepared by Brendan Ducey
4.  Membership fees are to be kept to the minimum possible and are payable along with charter costs only by those taking part in sailing trips
5.  Guests will be permitted where space is available and may be invited into club membership after not less than two sailing trips, providing general consensus is favourable
6.  RYA membership - benefits/restrictions to be considered further
7.  A SSC bank account is to be opened following further investigation of running costs - Rob Ryan/Sean Corrigan
8.  A website is to be set up to publicise news and events - Simon Corrigan/Sean Corrigan
9.  The May sailing trip is plannned for 14th, 15th and 16th May - Rob Ryan/Tony Tait to send out invitation email
10.  It is hoped to charter 3 boats; 2 Met Police boats and Blue Lady - RR/TT
11.  Consider sailing to Cowes, Chichester, Yarmouth - dependent on tides/weather
12.  The September sailing trip is plannned for Friday 17th  to Sunday 19th September
